About the artist
Julie Rebecca is a self-taught artist based on the east coast of Essex, UK. Working in mixed media, her work is inspired by the natural world — especially the shifting moods of the sea, open landscapes, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments.
Art began as a personal refuge, a way to cope with the noise of life, trauma, and the weight of stress. Over time, it became something more — a way to express what words often can’t. Through painting and photography, Julie aims to create work that feels calm, grounded, and emotionally relatable.
